What is the Faith Anne Deigan Angel Fund?

Established by her loving family following her passing in March of 2021, The Faith Anne Deigan  Angel Fund is an independent fund benefiting the students of Mother of Mercy Academy.  Faith was a Pittsburgh native, growing up in Mt. Oliver and attending the University of Pittsburgh. After receiving her MBA from Pitt, she enjoyed a successful career where she served as the VP of Jefferson Hospital and Regional CEO of Healthsound Rehabilitation Hospitals.  She also formerly owned Ridgepointe Personal Care and Merryheart Retirement Residence (both located in Baldwin). As a dedicated parishioner of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (St. Thomas A’ Beckett) and with deep roots in the south hills diocesan communities, Faith’s family hopes to continue her outstanding legacy through the establishment of her Angel Fund. The Faith Anne Deigan Angel Fund will help to provide the gift of Catholic Education for students attending Mother of Mercy Academy.  

Who is eligible?

Any Mother of Mercy Academy student is eligible to to apply for the Faith Anne Deigan Angel Fund after applying for financial aid. Families must first complete the FACTS Financial Aid Application as a pre-requisite to apply to the Faith Anne Deigan Angel Fund. Upon completion of the FACTS application, families must complete the Angel Fund Google form application.  Finally, families must be formally enrolled at Mother of Mercy Academy.  Students can register here. Once these items are completed, financial needs will be evaluated and funds will be committed.
